What is it?

Venus Viva™ is a highly customizable skin resurfacing device that delivers exceptional results with low downtime. Powered by NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) with SmartScan™ technology, it is a fractional radiofrequency system that allows operator control of ablation, coagulation, and resurfacing for enhanced efficacy in resolving mild to severe skin damage. Venus Viva™ can replace all other skin resurfacing devices with one lightweight, tabletop device. Skin resurfacing treatments are safe for all skin types with low downtime.

What to expect? 

These treatments normally vary between 3-4 sessions, every 4-6 weeks. For wrinkle reduction treatments, most patients will receive 6-8 treatments per area, with each session lasting from 15-30 minutes. The exact number of treatments depends on the individual.

What is recovery like? 

For skin resurfacing treatments, you will experience mild redness post treatment, and you can resume your regular activities, skincare and makeup routine after 24 hours. For wrinkle reduction treatments, there is no downtime.

How does this treatment work? 

Venus Viva™ skin resurfacing treatments work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. This creates tiny micro-dermal wounds, which the body then works to heal naturally. This process repairs signs of skin damage seen on the surface of the skin. Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO2 lasers and produces satisfying results. Whereas, Venus Viva™ wrinkle reduction treatments with the DiamondPolar™ applicator are powered by patented (MP)2 technology that produces uniform heat under the skin’s surface. This process helps to naturally increase collagen and elastin fibers, which results in smoother, firmer skin that looks noticeably more youthful. In conclusion, there are two different hand pieces that work differently from one another therefore we can tailor treatments to suit you.
